WELCOME TO THE GBRA ON THE WEB

WELCOME

The Great Bay Radio Association is an ARRL (American Radio Relay League) Affiliated Club founded in 1933. The Club participates in many Public Service Events every year, including providing radio communications for the Christmas Parades in Rochester and Dover. We also support the Reach The Beach run, the Barrington Peeper Run and the Tour de Cure.

The Club provides Amateur Radio License Classes for all three levels of Amateur Radio License Levels on an on demand basis. We also provide Test Sessions for those wishing to become an Amateur Radio Operator or those wishing to upgrade their exsisting license. We are currently running classes at one of the local hospitals.

The Club offers support to the local Amateur Radio Community in the form of help in erecting antennas, questions on operating procedures, help with setting up your first station, and hopefully, answers to repair and equipment problems.

If you are interested in joining the GBRA, please attend a meeting. Everyone, licensed amateur or not is welcome. Dues are $20.00 per year. If you attend, please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Hope to see you there.
