EC Strafford county ARES

B1st Peeper 5k run/walk

Strafford ARES is looking for volunteers to help with the B1st Peeper 5k run/walk. The event takes place on May 12, 2007 at 9:00AM at the TD Banknorth on Rte 125 in Barrington. We're looking for 10 hams with handi-talkies to spread around the course.

Net Control Operators Wanted

We are currently seeking new individuals as Net Control Stations. No experience is necessary, although a reasonable RF signal into the repeater is recommended and you do need to be a member of ARES.

ARES Members from outside Strafford County are also very welcome. This weekly net can be a good way to learn and practice this important skill. If interested please contact John KB1KKL for a listing in the next Net-Ops rotation.
